Crestline, CA – On Wednesday November 20, 2019 Davin Jameson, a 40 year old resident of Banning, and Amanda Rosa, a 30 year old resident of Banning, were arrest for attempted murder, armed robbery and elder abuse, to a 71 year old resident of Crestline.
The victim allowed Jameson and Rosa to stay at his residence in Crestline because they had no place to stay. An argument ensued when the victim observed them using illicit drugs at his home. Rosa attempted to calm the victim down by offering him marijuana, but the victim refused and told the suspects to leave. Jameson and Rosa violently attacked the victim using their hands/fists, a pair of handcuffs and a pool cue as weapons. During the altercation, the victim recalled Jameson taking the victim’s handgun and pointing it at him prior to losing consciousness.
When the victim regained consciousness, he realized the subjects had fled the scene and stolen his handgun, handcuffs and cell phone. The victim called law enforcement from an alternate phone and reported the incident.
Deputies located the suspects parked in a vehicle in Crestline. They were detained and found them in possession of the victim’s property, Jameson and Rosa were arrested and booked at the Central Detention Center, pending charges of PC 664/187 – Attempted Murder, PC 211 – Armed Robbery, and PC 368/ Elder Abuse.
