Lake Arrowhead, CA – On April 5, 2019, Deputies from the Twin Peaks station responded to an in progress residential burglary in the community of Lake Arrowhead. The victim was watching live video surveillance footage of her residence and observed subjects forcibly enter her residence and take the victim’s personal property. Through investigative leads, deputies identified the subjects as Jaimee Locanas, 25 year old resident of Twin Peaks and Christopher Snider, a 36 year old resident of Crestline.
At approximately 12:30 p.m., deputies were contacted by Lake Arrowhead Village security regarding two subjects stealing from a local business. Through the investigation, it was discovered Locanas and Snider were stealing merchandise from miscellaneous businesses. After an extensive area check, deputies were able to recover the property from the residence and commercial burglaries.
After the interviews of Locanas and Snider were arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga for violation of PC 459 – Residential Burglary. Locanas and Snider are currently being held in lieu of $75,000 bond.
The case will be submitted to the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s office for review.
