Crestline, CA – on May 8, 2018, at approximately 2:06 p.m., Sargent Ryan Ford from the Twin Peaks Station responded to the 2400 Block of Alburn Drive in Crestline, regarding a theft report. The victim reported Nathaniel Ebert, a 21 year old resident of Crestline, stole $5,000 worth of jewelry from her bedroom, along with her cell phone. When the victim confronted Ebert, a struggle took place, then Ebert fled the residence on foot with the victim’s jewelry. Deputies conducted a search of the area but, Ebert was not found.
On May 14, 2018, at approximately 4:00 a.m., Deputies Kelly Bush and Blake Stevving were conducting foot patrol in the 23800 block of Pioneer Camp Road when they saw Ebert in front of residence talking to a few other suspects. Ebert was contacted and taken into custody for several outstanding warrants and the theft of the jewelry from the victims bedroom.
Ebert was arrested for his warrants as well as Penal Code 212.5, Residential Robbery and 459, Residential Burglary. Ebert was transported and booked into Central Detention Center and is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.
