Twin Peaks, CA – Neighborhood Watch (NHW) programs in the mountain communities are one of the most effective and least costly ways to prevent crime and reduce fear in local neighborhoods. Neighborhood Watch programs fight the isolation and separation that crime creates and feeds upon.
Neighborhood Watch forges bonds among area residents and businesses, helps reduce burglaries and robberies and improves relations between San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies and the mountain communities they serve.
NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH MEETING
The Twin Peaks Sheriff’s Station will be hosting a Neighborhood Watch information sharing event at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, August 27, at the old Twin Peaks Court Room at 26010 Highway 189 (at Grandview Drive).
The free event is open to the public and is geared at providing information to residents that are interested in becoming a Community Watch Member or starting a Neighborhood Watch program in their area.

Hunt urges residents to attend the meeting on August 27 and learn how they can help the Sheriff’s Department in its crime prevention efforts.
Involved residents can help McGruff TAKE A BITE OUT OF CRIME.
“Take the first step in getting involved to keep your community safe,” Hunt emphasized. “If you already have an active Neighborhood Watch, please join us so that we can share new program information with you.”
