Deputies Seize 850 Marijuana Plants And Close Dispensary

Crestline, CA -San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies served a search warrant at the Woodland Healing Center in Crestline and confiscated 850 marijuana plants, three pounds of marijuana products and red tagged the building. The street value of the plants is up to $2 million.

SO BadgeCaptain Rick Ells of the Twin Peaks Station told ROTWNEWS the Sheriff’s Department’s Marijuana Eradication Team (MET) served the search warrant, confiscated the plants and products and called in Code Enforcement to check for code violations.

Eventually,” Captain Ells reported, “Southern California Edison was called in to assist with the inspection of the building and due to the number of violations Code Enforcement red tagged the building after determining it was uninhabitable.”

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The owner of the dispensary and an employee were issued citations but their names were not released by authorities.

A visit to the building located in the 23000 block of Lake Gregory Drive on Wednesday (February 12) found the front door with a Closed sign and a For Rent sign. Woodland Healing Center’s Facebook page has not been updated since last last month.

RECENT ARMED ROBBERY

MARIJUANA SignThe dispensary was robbed of marijuana products on February 6 by three black males armed with a shotgun and two pistols.’

A customer and an employee were ordered into a closet during the armed robbery just before 9 p.m.

MARIJUANA ERADICATION TEAM

The Marijuana Eradication Team (MET) investigates indoor and outdoor marijuana cultivations throughout San Bernardino County.

The team works closely with various local, state, and federal agencies, including the US Forest Service, Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), and Riverside County Sheriffs Department. This joint agency response has proven extremely effective in locating and eradicating numerous large outdoor cultivations that are typically found in remote areas of the San Bernardino National Forest.
