National Night Out Tuesday, August 7, 2018

Crestline, CA – Rim of the World Recreation and Park District, in conjunction with Cal Fire, San Bernardino County Fire, California Highway Patrol, and the Park District Staff are hosting a National Night Out.

Mountain residents are invited to come out to the Lake Gregory Education & Community Center, 24740 San Moritz Way, Crestline, CA., between the hours of 5:00 p.m and 7:00  p.m., Tuesday August 7, 2018.

This is a free, family-oriented event to raise awareness about crime prevention and personal/household safety. Police and fire equipment will be on display and there will be fun games and activities, chips and hot dogs will be served. Listen to the High Desert YARDBIRDS.

National Night Out is an annual campaign, organized through the National Association of Town Watch that promotes community partnerships and camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer and more caring places to live.

Together we are making this happen. In recognition of Nation Night Out, resident throughout the mountain — and across the nation — are asked to lock their doors, turn on their porch lights, and spend the evening of August 7th outside with neighbors and law enforcement. National Night Out is a night to stand together and promote awareness, safety and neighborhood unity, through community partnerships and citizen involvement.

Ar the National Night Out the LGEC ball field will have their GRAND OPENING!
