Cedar Glen, CA – On May 8, 2017 Lori Nelson 36, of Cedar Glen was arrested on embezzlement charges. Sheriff deputies from the Twin Peaks Station executed a search warrant in the 29000 block of Lyon Drive, Cedar Glen, CA, regarding an embezzlement complaint. Deputy Bullag led the investigation and learned Lori Nelson, a former employee of the Shell Gas Station in Twin Peaks, had been stealing merchandise, cash and lottery tickets from her employer. Deputy Bullag authored the warrant, based on information he obtained from the investigation.
During the execution of the warrant deputies recovered approximately $1,000 worth of non-winning California Lottery scratch tickets. The tickets were reported stolen by Nelson’s former employers and were taken as evidence. After completing the search warrant and his investigation, Deputy Bullag arrested Lori Nelson for PC503, Embezzlement and PC487, Grand Theft. Nelson was transported to the Central Detention Center for booking. She was released on her own recognizance.
