Big Bear Lake, CA – A homicide investigation is underway following the discovery of the body of a 33-year-old male in the 42000 block of Willow Avenue in Big Bear Lake.
Deputies from the Big Bear Sheriff’s Station responded to a report of a deceased male at the Willow Avenue residence on Tuesday, April 28, at 11:20 a.m., after receiving a 9-1-1 call from a relative.
THE INCIDENT
The reporting party told authorities they went to the cabin, entered the residence, and found the victim dead at the location.
The deceased has been identified as George Kovacevich. Deputies determined Kovacevich to be
the victim of a gunshot wound.
The Homicide Division of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is now investigating the case.
