Arrowbear, CA – Deputies from the Twin Peaks Sheriff’s Station are seeking information about an unidentified man who allegedly stole the wallet of an 80-year-old man who dropped the wallet outside of an Arrowbear convenience store on Wednesday, March 11.
The elderly man dropped the wallet, which contained about $800 in cash along with his credit cards, at the Valero station. The wallet — made for the victim by a young family member — is made out of blue, yellow, green and pink duct tape.
THE INCIDENT
The suspect was walking behind the victim and reportedly picked up the man’s wallet and placed it in his shopping bag and walked away.
Deputies then believe the suspect drove off in a late 1990′s model Dodge Ram pick-up truck. The dark colored truck may be either black or dark blue, according to a media release issued by Public Information Officer Gilbert Flores.
THE SUSPECT
The suspect is described as a white male in his 40′s, 5-foot 10-inches tall with dark hair and weighing about 250 pounds.
The suspect was identified by authorities as a regular at the gas station and store, however, his name is not known.
