Mountain Communities, CA – Over the past few weeks, the Twin Peaks Sheriff’s Station has received reports of a vandal puncturing tires from Twin Peaks to Lake Arrowhead. A video of the suspect puncturing tires in the lot near the entrance to the Blue Jay Village, across the street from Jensen’s, has been provided by the Sheriff’s Department.
The punctures in the cases have always been similar, utilizing an ice pick or similar object. Quite often the holes were so small the tire didn’t go flat until the victim drove for a distance in their vehicle. In several instances, the vandal hit the side wall of the tire, making it impossible to repair and forcing owners to purchase a new tire.
