Big Bear Lake, CA – A 32-year-old manager of McDonald’s in Big Bear Lake is facing sex-related charges involving a 16-year-old female employee, according to a media release issued by the Big Bear Sheriff’s Station. Deputies identified the suspect as Scott Michael Ross.
THE CASE
The media advisory indicates that at approximately 6:30 p.m . on Monday, April 28, the 16-year-old female victim and family members came to the Big Bear Sheriff’s Station to report incidents of unlawful sexual acts against the juvenile.
Detectives made contact with all involved parties and determined that Ross had sexual relations with the teenage female.
Through investigation, detectives also determined that Ross had sent sexually explicit photographs to the victim via cell phone.
THE ARREST
Ross was arrested without incident and booked at 10:57 p.m. at the Big Bear Jail.
Bail has been set at $50,000 and Ross has been charged with oral copulation, unlawful sex with a minor, and sending sexually explicit matter to a minor.
COURT APPEARANCE
Ross is scheduled to be arraigned on the felony charges at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30, in San Bernardino County Superior Court.
